Just after the nose wheel touched down I could feel the vibration.  By the time I was slowed to taxi speed there was no doubt the nose wheel tire had gone flat.  We were scheduled to depart almost immediately on a 5 hour flight to Florida out of Warrenton, VA and the maintenance shop at this airport had no tire or tube to fit.

Leading Edge Aviation at Manassas to the rescue!  A call to Dave Moberg at Leading Edge, who dropped what he was doing, pulled a spare wheel with mounted tire and tube, drove over from Manassas, where their new Cirrus Service Center is based, swapped out the bad for the good and sent us on our way. 

This is the kind of service one hopes for but isn't always there when needed.  

So hats off to Dave and the Leading Edge team.

I know that this ticket is now closed but I couldn't properly close it without expressing my sincere thanks to both Savvy and the Leading Edge team.

Steve: Thanks to your tireless efforts to get my plane ready by Saturday morning, I was able to accomplish the mission for this weekend. Saturday was pretty windy and turbulent but the return trip today was excellent flying weather.

The airplane felt like a new plane. The new magnetos, correctly adjusted and timed, performed flawlessly. It starts right up now, each and every time. The performance is superb. I saw better climb rates and TAS than ever before. Is this possible just because of new mags?

Also, Steve, your method of setting cruise power (go below the detent and then advance up) netted me a few more knots at the same fuel rate.

Between the new starter, the new mags, and Steve's cruise adjustment advice, I simply couldn't be happier. It now feels the way a Cirrus should feel!

Thanks for all of your time and effort. I know that I pay for it in dollars but dollars alone can't buy a great attitude, sound advice, and timely delivery. That all due to you guys!
